This is good news for netbook user in Korea. Lenovo Korea announced the release of its upgraded netbook ‘IdeaPad S10-2′ in Korea market on August 26th. IdeaPad S10-2 which has only 1.8cm thickness and 1.1kg weight is small enough to be carried as portable netbook. The IdeaPad S10-2 is equipped with Intel Atom N280 processor, a 10.2-inch LED screen and 160GB HDD. Adopting a facial recognition system ‘VeriFace’, it also supports QuickStart function to enjoy media player, photos, instant messaging and Skype without PC booting up anytime.

Available in four different colors such as gray, pink, white and black, it offers up to six hours of battery life. Suggested price is around 700,000(KRW).

ThinkPad T400s is ready for Korea market. Lenovo announced the new 14-inch notebook pc ‘ThinkPad T400s’ which measures 2.1cm thickness at 1.8kg weight with a 6-cell battery pack. ThinkPad T400s is powered by Intel Core 2 Duo(2.53GHz) processor, the ThinkPad T400s adopts either 120GB SSD or 250GB HDD. Other features included a 2M webcam, up to six hours of battery life, VGA and Display Port.
